First Responsibility: Overseeing the Development of Special Zones
- The first task: to identify Special Zones
- developing criteria for determining what is considered Special Zones as well as the appropriate specifications for planning and design.
- The second task: to select developers of Special Zones
- Preparing for competitions between developers applying for the development of Special Zones.
- Developing criteria for evaluating developers applying for the development of Special Zones.
- Evaluating and selecting the most appropriate developer.
- Dealing with the developers in terms of financial and administrative aspects relating to the offers being made.
- Keeping and documenting all documents and transactions in both their paper and digital forms as a sole reference and single basis.
- The third task: to supervise the work of the selected developer and support them towards implementation
- Providing information and studies on Special Zones to the developers.
- Providing developers with pointers and general values of the Municipality of Jeddah Province, which must be taken into account during the preparation of studies.
- Developing professional standards necessary to evaluate the submission and control of the applications as well as the observation of the cost of studies.
- Supervising the work of the studies submitted by developers and ensuring their quality and conformity with the standards and plans established by the Municipality of Jeddah Province.
- Following-up selected developers towards the preparation of workshops for the selection and development or the use of external specialist consultants about the submitted plans.
- Final adoption of general and detailed plans submitted by developers.
Second Responsibility: Adoption and Studying of Pioneering Projects
- First task: preparation of annual work plans for the administration, including comprehensive management performance indicators.
- Second task: analysis and study of projects.
- Third task: evaluation of Pioneering Projects by the Commission for Studying Projects and an external consultant.
Third Responsibility: Conducting Departmental Work
- First task: preparation of annual work plans for the administration, including comprehensive management performance indicators.
- Second task: preparation of the administration's budget estimates.
- Third task: preparing and developing necessary procedures to achieve the administration's objectives and missions.
- Fourth task: implementation of administration plans and supervision of the performance and efficiency of its staff .
