2. Batterjee Medical College |

The Batterjee College for Medical Sciences and Technology (BMC) was founded in 2005 and received its first group of students in September 2006. BMC is considered to be the first specialist inclusive private university for medical sciences in the KSA. As a matter of fact it is also considered to be one of the most modern and larger private universities for medical sciences in the Middle East region. BMC was established by Bait Al-Batterjee Medical College Co. for Medical Sciences and Technology. It includes medical colleges that can accomodate 4,000 students (both males and females).

Operating under the umbrella of King Faisal’s Non-Profit Charitable Organization, Effat University is strengthened by the legacy of its founder, Queen Effat Al-Thunayyan. Founded as Effat College in 1999 by the late Queen Effat Al Thunayan, this visionary institution was elevated to university status by royal decree issued by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud on January 29, 2009.
Effat University consists of three colleges:
1-College of Engineering:(Architecture, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, and Information Systems)
2- College of Business: (Finance, Accounting, Marketing, Human Resources Management, Operations and Information Management, and Entrepreneurship)
3-College of Humanities and Social Sciences: (Early Childhood Education, English and Translation, and Psychology).
Two graduate programs are offered through the Extension Programs Department:
1-Executive Master for Islamic Financial Management (XIFM) presented by the Ecole Supérieure des Affaires (Beirut) and the Rotterdam School of Management (Holland)
2-IE MBA presented by Instituto de Empresa (Spain).
