The website will enable two way communication and stronger partnerships between the Municipality and our communities and neighborhoods.

We at the Municipality are striving to improve the quality of our services and transform our internal culture - towards efficiency, transparency and fairness. The website is a key tool for delivering this promise. It aims to make it easier for you to get the information and quality of services you need; and when our e-Government programmes are fully developed you will increasingly be able to execute your transactions online (such as applying for licenses and permits). This will minimise delays and ensure transparency.

I encourage you to play your part in transforming our City and if you have suggestions for local initiatives to improve the city or your own neighborhood, these will always be welcome.

The website will also be used to publish our Key Performance Indicators so you can judge our performance - with full transparency.

Finally, the website is being continually developed, to further improve its usefulness and user interface and your suggestions for improvements will always be appreciated.
